Baracuta - A British Classic

Since the 50s, the Manchester-based brand Baracuta has been a menswear staple brand. Their G9 jacket was developed in 1937 as a golf jacket but gained worldwide notoriety in the 50s and 60s. Through widespread adoption by Ivy Legeau students and a cameo in a few classic movies, the brand became sought after by people from all over the globe. In later decades, different counter-cultures, like the mods and punks, would also incorporate the G9 in their wardrobe. Despite this rich history, not much has changed. The jackets still feature the same iconic details and are still produced in the UK.
