Vault by Vans and Porter have teamed up on a collection celebrating Porter's 85th anniversary. 

Vans and Porter Yoshida & Co are both favourite brands of ours. Both are known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail which are built into their foundation. As you can imagine, we were over the moon when we heard that the two worlds collided!
This collaboration features Vans' iconic footwear styles in black and forest night / black ink colour palette with checkerboard detailing and an orange trim. Staying true to Porter's heritage as producers of luggage and bags, the collection features a forest green three-way briefcase and wallet in their iconic nylon twill, and a checkerboard luggage tag in premium leather.

We couldn’t let a collaboration like this go by without contributing to the festivities ourselves! So, we decided to give our own interpretation on the release. The result of this interpretation is a short clip we called ‘The Layover’

Porter Yoshida & Co were inspired by traditional hotel porters who themselves are experts in what makes a good bag and who have processed countless pieces of luggage. Porters are also reminiscent of traveling around the world, for which Porter bags are excellent with their numerous, well thought-out pockets and compartments.
