Alexandra and Segole Jaçmin used their appreciation for the color blue, denim and the female silhouette to shape their brand with. Of course, our shared love for denim resulted in the start of a fruitful love affair, but it is Façon Jacmin’s desire to break stigma that truly caught our attention.
The fact that denim’s features change as the fabric ages, is the starting point of Jaçmin twin’s designs. They approach the female wardrobe with the intention to break through patterns and expectations. And they aim to favor the adventurous and self-conscious women. Add Japanese premium denim and craftsmanship to that and you get a pretty good idea of what this brand is about. The word ‘Façon' is derived from the French word ‘façonnier’ which refers to ‘manufacturing’. The sisters felt it was important to emphasise the ‘make’ and craft behind every denim item.
This brand is still relatively new on the block, but we for one can’t wait to see what their future will bring.
