Because the brand exists for such a long time, it holds a connection with every historic era. Levi’s was apparent during flower power, and plays an important role in an endless series of Hollywood films. Heroes like Marlon Brando, Steve McQueen and James Dean were all wearing the ‘red tab’ jeans, with the small flag at the back pocket Levi’s has patented. With the commercialization of denim throughout the years, the brand added sub-lines like Levi’s Vintage Clothing and Levi’s Made & Crafted. Yet, the basic denim pieces are still produced under the Levi’s Red Tab umbrella. If denim is a religion, we consider Levi’s as a prophet. A true denim pioneer, and still a source of inspiration for every clothing designer. Not to forget, check out the collection of vintage Levi’s items in our TdN Archive to find original and breathtaking 1970s and 1980s denim pieces.
