A.P.C. is the brainchild of Jean Touitou, who founded the brand because of his distaste for the over-the-top fashion designs of the 80s. Touitou was no novice in the fashion industry, as earlier on in his career he had worked for Kenzo and other fashion brands. A.P.C. (abbreviation for ‘Atelier de Production et de Creation’) has never deviated from its core philosophy since its inception in 1987. To this day they still produce timeless, quality garments in a way that is fair to the world and all its inhabitants. We wish more brands would take notes from this icon.
