Façon Jacmin is the latest denim treasure at Tenue de Nîmes. Founded by Belgian sisters Alexandra and Segolene Jaçmin, the brand was born out of appreciation for the color blue and denim blue in particular.

“We love how denim gets more interesting by age. It is unbelievable how many shades of blue a single fabric can represent”, says Alexandra who designs de Façon collections. “Facon Jacmin to me, is a different approach to the female wardrobe. It is my personal desire to break through stigmas in fashion with my designs." 
The word ‘Façon' is derived from the French word ‘façonnier’ which refers to ‘manufacturing’. The sisters felt it was important to emphasise the ‘make’ and craft behind every denim item. Façon Jacmin is a denim wardrobe for the adventurous and self-conscious women of the world. Besides working with new denim fabrics the sisters  also love to create garments with recycled denim. 

Although the Façon Jacmin journey just started, the Jaçmin sisters were already rewarded by the Belgian Fashion Council with the Emerging Talent award in 2017. 

The latest Façon Jacmin Spring Summer collection is made from Japanese denim and produced by a few of the best denim manufacturers in Europe. “Japanese culture is all about perfectionism”, claims Alexandra Jaçmin. "Their denim fabric is world-famous for its impeccable quality. By using Japanese fabrics we personally secure our quality standards and also create something sustainable because thanks to high-quality fabrics our products are made to stay”.
